The areas of application for our CONTOUR Hand System are mainly in osteosynthesis in the fields of traumatology, reconstructive surgery as well as replantation of phalanx extremities. In addition, the CONTOUR System is very suitable for therapeutic surgery by rheumatic affections.

•  The self-tapping and self-retaining 1.2 mm, 1.7 mm und 2.3 mm CROSS-FIT screws are
   centered with the help of additional pins in the screwdriver and allows exact axial screw
   guideance.
•  When using very long screws, additional screw holding devices are available.
•  All screws can be used for fixation of the plates as well as lag screws for the fixation of
   interfragmental compression technique.
• The 1.2 mm screws can additionally be used for the fixation of small bone fragments and
   band ruptures.
•  All plates are horizontally pre-formed and do not, in most cases, need any further adaptation.
•  In addition, stabilizer plates have been developed preventing slipping of bone during fixation
   by small arms on either side of the screw hole.
•  XS and S Fixation plates in 0.6 mm plate thickness for middle phalanx fractures.
•  M Fixations and M Compression plates in 1.0 mm plate thickness for proximal phalanx and IV
   metacarpal bone fractures.
•  L Compression plates in 1.3 mm plate thickness for I, II, III, and IV metacarpal fractures.
•  The clear basic main instrumentation eases the use of plates and removal of screws, their
   adaptation and fixation due to their ergonomic form and color coding.
