Atrophy of the alveolar crest causes continuous problems during restoration with dental implants in patients where there is not enough bone to locate the implants securely. The lack of bone can be overcome by using autologous bone grafts for example. One easy method to fix the bone graft is by using these micro screws, either alone or in combination with titanium micromesh (MICRO-MESH).
